This March, we began one of our biggest jobs to date.
This job was located at the end of a gorgeous cottage road, right on the Trent Severn Waterway. The house is a new log home, with many rustic-chic elements, which we were able to add to with our flooring. It was wonderful to see it all come together.
This drive would normally be beautiful, but we were pulling a trailer up this winding road at the end of the winter, so you can imagine some of the difficulties we might have had making to the site.
We got it done though, YAY!
When I tell you that this job was big, I really mean it
This job included;
-Over 3000 square feet of Richmond Long Plank col. Sequin; installed in six bedrooms, a kitchen, upstairs hallway, dining/living room, basement living room, and two landings on the stairs
-Five bathroom floors done with Castlestone décor mix tiles col. Cold
-Four showers done with Native 12×24 Tiles Col. Silver
-And a front entrance done with Geoshapes tiles col. Ivory/Stellar 8×8
I’d like to take this opportunity to mention the stairs leading to this house. They were magnificent, winding, and there were just so many of them. Unfortunately, there were also unavoidable. There are some things in life, that you just have to appreciate for what they are, no matter how inconvenient when carrying saws and tile.
These are pictures that I took from the second floor! Aren’t these steps fantastic!?
The customers were incredibly happy with the outcome, and so are we. We love seeing a project through to the end, it feels all the more rewarding.
